Rest Eternally at Peace Peter Christopherson

It is with much sorrow that I'm writing this. For any readers of Sound and Symbol who aren't aware, sadly Peter Christopherson has died. There is no doubt in my mind that today's musical landscape would be very different were it not for the many projects Peter had been involved in. The last post he made to Unkle. . . . . Sleaz, titled "X-Industrial" ended with a few lines that I think are very fitting to repost:

"Nobody knows the future, after all.... All we can do is try to make it as enjoyable, inspiring, helpful, encouraging and illuminating for everyone as possible, in the time that we have left.

In my book that means not only remembering the past and music of 30 years ago, (whether or not it's good enough to satisfy drunken Americans!) BUT NOT REPEATING IT, no matter how easy.
